Clearwater Audubon Society & St. Petersburg Audubon Society Proudly Present: Dr. Geoffrey Hill, Auburn University – the Coloration of Birds: evolution of ornamental traits in birds; coloration & plumage; color’s key role in avian life; how birds perceive color; how color varies by sex, season, & age; how birds use color to attract mates and deter competitors.
