ABOUT Monthly ProgramsClearwater Audubon Society meetings take place on the first Monday of the month from October through May. Programs are free and open to the public: everyone is welcome.Programs are intended to be both educational and entertaining. For details of each program see the monthly calendar. Unless otherwise noted, programs are held in the Education Center at Moccasin Lake Nature Park, and begin at 7:30 pm after a brief Society business meeting.![]() ABOUT Field TripsF I E L D T R I P SOur field trips are free (with the exceptions described below) and involve 2 to 4 hours of fun for bird, wildlife & outdoor lovers. Appropriate clothes & shoes include: Sun screen & insect repellant, field guides, drinking water. Some destinations have no or only primitive facilities; {brackets} indicate those sites. We'll take rest stops elsewhere as needed.L O N G D A Y T R I P SThese field trips may last all morning & more. Bringing along lunch or a snack is a good idea.V A N T R I P SThese long day trips involve sharing VAN expenses. For these trips we require 10 reservations at least 3 days before the scheduled trip date.M U L T I - D A Y T R I P SThese field trips involve costs including lodging, food, & transport. They require a reservation & deposit not less than 7 days before trip.T I M E S / M E E T I N G P L A C E STIMES listed for field trips are departure times from meeting place.Please ASSEMBLE at meeting place 15 minutes prior to departure time.
